This may be of interest to many of you who would like to benchmark hunt but have not started or have thought the task of finding and downloading the benchmark files in your area of interest was just to complicated.
If you choose the DSWORLD for Google Earth, just install - open - select [Stations]- select the type - input your area of interest - click on the NGS logo at the bottom. Click on the one of interest to you and select data sheet or description. *It will even give you directions*. Cool stuff and a lot easier then downloading data sheets on area PID's in LOC format just to see what was in that area.
I think I will spend some time benchmark hunting this winter and I hope you find this info link and the shortcut useful. Happy hunting.
