BPnJ, my buddy moved out in the country....no cable, no DSL...no nuttin. He is in a direct line of sight with the cell tower about 1 mile away. Gets AT&t card or whatever for internet hook-up. It promptly crashes his laptop 2 times in a row. Buddy quickly tells AT&T where they can put their stuff. His cell phone works better than the internet card. Your not the only one with problems

You can get about the same deal $$ wise from Hughes Net if you only need internet for your home and their FAP is more lenient then any AT&T aircard or Wild Blue, etc. I used a Sprint USB modem for years before I got DSL out here but it is PCS (directional) technology and you need to be along the main roads so that didn't work too well for mobile (If you like the back roads and small towns like me). AT&T has excellent cell coverage and this mobile broadband USB modem is working very well with the new.....not AT&T...connection program. I was going to get a Droid but there are waaaaaaay too many bugs popping up. You know what they say about fighting a known enemy instead of one you know nothing about so as long as this is working I may try to stick it out.

Just checking to make sure I haven't missed anyone who has attempted to register their ID for the hunt yet. The membership list will be updated and printed for the 37th hunt at 10:30PM. If you haven't registered for the hunt since the rule changes of 7-12-09 you need to log in and send me a PM with the name and city you want it registered in. That means the name and city that is on the ID you will need to present to claim the prize money. If you have registered it in one name but that caching partner is not going to be able to make this hunt, went to the deer woods maybe, you are allowed to change it to another name at any time before printing.
